Light Energy for Acne

A Texas doctor claims that you can now kill your acne while you chat on the phone with your friends. Houston dermatologist Greg Pearson says that his AcneApp, available at Apple’s app store for $1.99, is a great way to clear your mug of unseemly spots.

Fox TV, Houston reports:

The AcneApp emits alternating bursts of red and blue light from the iPhone’s screen. All users have to do is run the program then hold the phone up to their faces.

Dr. Pearson says the phone needs to be held to the face for about two minutes a day, and callers have to remember to switch sides for maximum benefit. He isn’t quite sure of the results, and he can’t promote the app’s medical benefits because it hasn’t been FDA-approved. Pearson explains how the app is supposed to work:

The  AcneApp emits an alternating blue (antibacterial) and red (anti-inflammatory) light technology, believed to kill bacteria associated with acne and promote healing, and even act on wrinkles by stimulating collagen growth.

Dr. Pearson also claims that light treatments have been shown to be more effective in treating acne than over-the-counter meds.

Oranges are not the Only Fruit: 2010 Tiger
I read a book called 'Oranges are not the Only Fruit' as part of research, it's core is about creativity. The colour of our creative energy centre, the Sacral Chakra. Each year, month, week or day we may read about a change in certain cycles. 12 months of orange energy to flow with and whilst we know it will change eventually, I feel a stronger sense of 'now' this year. The Chinese New Year and coming of the Metal Tiger has allowed me to consider that as well as this orange vibration. Adjacent to orange the spectrum of colour is yellow, which 'Colours for 2010' highlights. Confidence and logic are an important part of keeping creative ideas in the flow, helped as the Solar Plexus gets good nourishment. In many respects this year is a time of rebuilding, focusing on best practices and the creative inspirations that enable harmony in life. Last year I was drawn to a little bird in my garden, brown and gold on its wings and breast it reminded me of a gemstone in my collection. Bronzite was drawn to hand and the vibration enabled a grounding into what's important at that time. As this stone is considered now, the feeling of light coming through darkness is apparent. Wishing you all logical solutions for your goals, as the seasonal cycle turns to Springtime here in the UK.

meditation group
I have set up an (initially) monthly meditation group in the Hull area. Anyone interested please feel free to contact me. I am using colour substantially in the meditations. If there are those who cannot get to my sessions, such as older people in homes or sheltered complexes who would like to participate I am happy to set up a group within their home. I am also piloting colour healing workshops in schools that have Behavioural and Emotional Support Teams.

Sharing the power of blue

Here is a really cool story -

One day a little boy was walking past some maintenance men who were clipping and snipping some bushes they were trimming.  The child was saddened because he remembered his mother once told him how plants feel pain when their leaves are cut or pulled off.  Sadly, he sat on the pavement not knowing what to do.

Along came a  woman who asked him what was wrong.  He told her why he was so sad.  The wise woman smiled and told him about the soothing powers of Ice Blue.  She said to him, "Tell the bush, ice blue".  This made the child very happy.  He smiled and skipped along the fence whispering ice blue to all the plants.  Until this day when he sees someone mowing their lawn, he smiles and thinks ice blue.

Ice Blue

This works on any pain and suffering.

Just think ice blue when you have any burns, cuts, bruises or

hurts.

Use it when cutting plants and grass to help numb their pain.

Use as many times as you like to help you, anyone or anything who

may be experiencing hurt.

Magenta R.O.E.S.
Hi, I have worked and played with colour since I was a little girl. I used to knit rainbow coloured scarves for my dolls, and I loved painting. I have always loved the contrast between black and white too and did a series of pen and ink drawings at the age of 15. I particularly loved flowers, and still do. I lived through a very traumatic childhood. I also had an accident where I fractured my spine at the age of 12, and experienced more trauma as an adult. Consequently,I forgot about my ability to draw and paint. In 1988 I qualified as an Aromatherapist with the Purple Flame School in Kenilworth, with distinction. It reconnected me with my love for flowers. After much self-healing and training in various holistic practices including becoming a teacher with Colourworks, (now Colour mirrors), I began having visions of pictures which were given to me by the Ascended Master Djwhal Khul, the same Master that Alice Bailey channeled in the early 1900s. I had been receiving channeled information from him since the Millennium, and I asked him to help me to make this information he was giving me on the Rays simpler. So he became quite specific about the pictures. I saw all of them as circles with pictures within. I started to remember how to draw and paint. I now have a series of 22 mandalas relating to each of the 22 Rays, all with a channeled verse, and infomation about the colours, qualities and characteristics of each one. In 2007 I began writing a book about the Rays, after being given a vision of a magenta rose being handed to me, and a golden book. It is called 'Introduction to Magenta R.O.E.S. (Rays of Emergence System)' It is a channeled book, by Djwhal Khul and the Guardians of the Rays, which includes a group consciousness of very high frequency Angels, Ascended Masters, Archangels and Star Masters, all of whom have presented their information through me in a simple and practical format. The book explains how the Rays are emerging to help steer us through the present process of Ascension as the planet shifts through dimensions from the 3rd to the 5th. They are becoming much more available for our everyday use. The Magenta Rose was painted on 8.8.2008 on the day of the opening of the 'lionsgate' energy. It felt very special. I am now writing my second book 'Journeying through the Chakras with the Rays', again giving everyday, practical advice on the use of colour in the shape of the Rays. I am travelling an amazing journey myself as I am writing about it, releasing, at last, many outdated beliefs, conditionings and behavioural patterns in the process. I am also painting a new set of Chakra Mandalas which have a very ancient, yet new energy about them. I am facilitating the first part of the workshops related to the new book in the Midlands on March 7th using these new chakra energies. I look forward to connecting with fellow 'colour' practitioners on here. Thank you Suzy for providing this forum.

Rainbows
'Healing is a thought by which two minds perceive their oneness and become glad' A course in Miracles. It is with this quote I begin because it is where I am now. As a therapist, artist and friend it is important to connect with people for healing to take place and I believe it is through colour that these connections be made. My interest in colour was re-ignited about 13 years ago as I was studying fine art. I was very interested in the Artists; Rembrandt and Kandinsky. Their use of colour was fascinating, as I studied their works, I found my own artworks taking on an animation that wasn't there before and that I, as a person began to change my perceptions. I looked further and further into the affect of colour on my viewers and myself and began to 'play' with colour composition. This led me to allow the painting to guide me rather than the other way round. My artwork became my oracle and healer. It showed me pathways, healed old scars and shed light onto the shadows. Without light our world would perish and it is within the light the colours dance. It is like Trevor Mayes says ' I need to learn more than ever!' It is a journey that is always just beginning and I am enjoying every moment! I watch it and feel it unfold before me and within me. Thanks to the Holistic Design Institute I am able to share my truths and knowledge to people from all walks of life to help them have a deeper understanding of themselves and the world we have all taken part in to create from a bright and colourful perspective. I wish you all every success and many blessings for your continuing journey.

IWOC - The Way Forward

‘He who stops getting better stops being good’ – Oliver Cromwell

I can recall in the mid seventies when I became professionally qualified in community and youth work there was a great debate on the issue of being qualified. The consensus of opinion was that it was a license to kill; a bare minimum with which to be let loose on society. I saw it a having the minimum amount of knowledge to practice; however, foremost was that it equipped me with the ability to find out the information that I needed in the future so I could continue to develop and grow as a person and as a professional. To this aim I became a field practice supervisor and learning became a joint experience for me and my students to which we all made a contribution.

In many ways I miss the stimulation and challenge of doing the colour therapy diploma which I enjoyed immensely and now that I am a qualified colour therapist I need to learn more than ever. Therefore, I am looking for a place to go to share experiences, support and ideas with like minded people to continue my learning and professional development.

In this respect I feel that the IWOC has great potential and will become ‘the’ colour therapy organisation for the public, students, practitioners and corporate members. I am very grateful to Suzy for starting the IWOC; however, we only get out of it what we put into it so I have written an article on my personal experiences of coping with stress and hope to write more articles on colour therapy. I would appreciate feedback and contributions from other members so I too can learn from your experiences.

Why Lavender Fields Life-coaching
Though I've worked therapeutically for years, incorporating life coaching and colour work into my social work with disabled children, it is only recently I have taken a huge leap of faith and set up my own business Lavender Fields Therapeutic Life-coaching. Why Lavender? Its interesting how some things develop significance in one's life. I can remember the day I decided my favourite colour was lavender (violet, mauve, purple etc. 52 years ago, I was 5! I had gone with my grandmother to buy fabric to make dolls clothes and was drawn to a beautiful piece of lavender silk. I've never changed my preference since. Lavender was my choice for kitchen decor in my first OWN house, following my divorce, and violet and silver for the bedroom. I planted lavender in the garden reminiscing about my grandad's walled garden full of herbs, back in the 50s. As an essential oil, or flower essence, it is very versatile being a relaxant if used in moderation but a stimulant if over used. It can soothe pain, heal cuts and burns, refresh and uplift our mind, and is romantic and spiritual. In flower psychometry Lavender flower spires represent the need to formulate and follow a plan of action; to focus on a goal and work towards it step by step. In doing so their healing energies will promote stamina, awareness, transformation, and the integrity needed to achieve ones goals giving one a sense of purpose. Lavender draws wisdom out of experience to apply to life situations. As a colour, we are all aware of its spiritual significance which I try to bring into my life-coaching. Both the plant and the colour are also linked astrologically to the sign of Gemini which is, of course, my own sun sign - do I detect synchronicity at work here? I think so! It turns out that it is entirely appropriate that I chose Lavender as a representation of what I am trying to do: "transform your life from turmoil to tranquillity". And anyway, I just love everything about lavender so why not?" Colourful blessings x

The Colour of Angels
I am delighted to celebrate the founding of the International Wheel of Colour, as colour has been of major importance in my life and work and it is exciting to be able to join with other professionals in this field and share our experiences. In particular, I have been working for the past 17 years with the healing energies of Angels and the ways in which this is expressed through colour.  By this, I mean the colours in which individual Angels manifest themselves to us - as an artist, my job is simply to record that to the best of my ability.  This is never easy with the physical materials available to us on Earth, but I do my best!
I am very happy to see four of my paintings of Angels in the IWOC gallery and I have been asked to write a few words about the images. The first, "Cosmic Angel" was inspired by a Hubble Space Telescope photo - I looked at the photo and thought "But that's an Angel!" The shapes and colours inspired the eventual image which was made ina mixture of gouache (a water-based paint) and collage. These vibrant cerise/magenta/purple shades are, for me, soul colours. The next image, "Angel of the Dawning" arose dring meditation when I was at the start of a new phase in my life. I used the colours of an actual dawn to symbolise a metaphysical dawn. The warm pinks, oranges and yellows are such optimistic colours. This is another gouache/collage combination. When it was exhibited it was bought by somebody who was also at a turning point in their life. "Earth Guardians" is the only one of these four that is a traditional oil painting. It expresses my belief that the Angels and Archangels love the Earth and are guarding our Planet despite the damage that we humans have done and are still doing. The deep purple/blue is a colour that I have always associated with profound spirituality, and the pinks, once again express optimism. "Forest Guardian" continues the same theme, and is another gouache with collage. I chose a wide range of greens and browns to represent the vast variety of trees in Earth's forests, with the prayer that we do not cause any more loss of species.

The Way Forward
It is with great pleasure that I welcome the opening of this Association and wonderful Website and I thank Suzy Chiazzari - and her Team - for all their hard work ,which has gone into bringing The International Wheel of Colour into being. I feel very proud to be a Member and a part of this Colour Family. Having been through some long years of close family bereavements , culminating in losing my dear Husband a year ago , I was feeling rather lost . Which way to go? What did I do ? The children are grown 'n'flown with babes of their own ... Then I saw my Certificate , in it's golden frame , my first one from the IRIS SCHOOL of COLOUR . My Husband was SO proud when I gained that qualification .I went back into my Studies, colour has always been important in my life , in differing ways; as a young woman with a City +Guilds Hairstyling Qualification I worked mostly in Colour work ; a little older and I was mad on fabrics in beautiful colours ... Now I have my new way forward again , in Colour Healing . It is a great passion of mine that all people have full access to a safe , clean and non-intrusive system of helping their own Immune Systems to become strong after shock and stress .People really need ways to safely help themselves in-between Medical treatments , we all need beauty and hope ...Colour in all it's glorious forms gives us that . I have personal experience of this and now want to share these healing benefits with others who are where I used to be. Thanks to Suzy Chiazzari I now have the knowledge to help other people as well as myself and family. This website is a terrific support for us all , indeed, I have been showing everyone the site or passing on the link , including via my own websites. Well done Suzy , thank you for all you do for Colour Healing , and the help you so freely and gladly share with your Students. Many Blessings and success in this new Venture. Love from Margaret, and "Ageless Wisdoms "xxx

Message from the founder, Suzy Chiazzari
For over fifty years, Colour Therapy has enlightened the lives of thousands of people all over the world. Colour has alleviated suffering and brought hope to individuals who have suffered physical illness, emotional and mental trauma and spiritual deprivation. On a larger scale colour therapeutics has uplifted and transformed the homes and work places of countless souls and the wonders of light therapy is now at the forefront of medical research on a grand scale.

The earth is going through a time of immense change and if we are to regenerate and heal ourselves and our planet, we must take action now. At no time in history is the transformative power of colour so needed and it is up to each of us to communicate this message to others who have been less fortunate.

I call upon everyone who loves colour and who has experienced its healing power to join together with me in this new venture and offer us your support. The year 2007  is a twilight time and we have the choice whether to plunge the world into darkness – let us bring forth the light!
